2. Acceptance of these Terms
Use of Atlas is subject to these Terms of Use.
Users should read them before using the service.
Where explicit acceptance is requested at a particular stage of the service, the user must accept the Terms in order to continue that step.
Commercial terms applicable to one-time purchases and to legacy Atlas Premium subscriptions still active are provided separately in the Subscription and Sales Terms.
3. Description of the service
Atlas is a digital service designed to assist users in analyzing, structuring and validating business or project ideas.
Depending on the available features and plan, Atlas may enable users to:
- complete a structured questionnaire;
- receive a Diagnostic Atlas™;
- receive an Atlas Score™;
- identify strengths, weaknesses, risks and assumptions;
- receive recommendations and action plans;
- work on positioning;
- work on offer and pricing;
- prepare an acquisition strategy;
- retain a history of certain analyses;
- perform certain reanalyses;
- export certain results.
Certain features may depend on the user's plan.
4. Atlas is a decision-support tool
Atlas provides analyses and recommendations intended to assist users in entrepreneurial decision-making.
Atlas does not constitute:
- a guarantee of success;
- a guarantee of profitability;
- a promise of revenue;
- a certified market study;
- legal advice;
- tax advice;
- accounting advice;
- investment advice;
- financing or an offer of financing.
An Atlas score, verdict, diagnostic or recommendation does not mean that a project will necessarily succeed or fail.
Final decisions remain the responsibility of the user.
Important assumptions should be checked against reliable information and, where appropriate, validated in the real world or with qualified professionals.
5. Artificial intelligence
Certain Atlas features use artificial intelligence systems.
Generated results may contain:
- errors;
- omissions;
- approximations;
- imperfect interpretations;
- assumptions requiring verification.
Atlas seeks to distinguish information supplied by the user from generated assumptions or recommendations, but no automated system can guarantee the absolute accuracy of every result.
Users should exercise their own judgment before making decisions based on Atlas results.
6. User accounts
Certain features require an account.
Users agree to provide reasonably accurate information and maintain access to their email address where necessary for account operation or security.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their authentication credentials and for activity performed through their account to the extent provided by applicable law.
If unauthorized access is suspected, users should take reasonable steps to secure their account and may contact:
- Support
- support@validatlas.com
7. Information provided by users
Users remain responsible for information they submit to Atlas.
Users must not:
- knowingly submit information they have no right to use;
- impersonate another person;
- submit unlawful content;
- use Atlas to infringe the rights of others;
- unnecessarily submit sensitive personal data about themselves or third parties.
The quality of Atlas results depends in part on the quality, accuracy and relevance of information supplied.
8. Permitted use
Atlas must be used in accordance with applicable law and its normal intended purpose.
Users must not:
- attempt to access another user's account without authorization;
- intentionally circumvent limitations, quotas or access controls;
- disrupt or attempt to compromise service security;
- abuse a vulnerability;
- use automated methods in a way that abnormally overloads or degrades the service;
- introduce malicious code;
- use Atlas as part of manifestly unlawful activity;
- copy or exploit proprietary service components without authorization.
Legitimate security testing involving intrusive interaction with the service requires prior authorization from NSAT.
9. Plans, limits and features
Atlas may offer different levels of access, including free and paid access.
Applicable features, quotas and limitations are those presented in the relevant interface or offer at the time of use.
Features may evolve.
Any change materially affecting a paid subscription remains subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
Pricing, payment, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are addressed separately in the Subscription and Sales Terms.
10. Ownership of user information
Users retain the rights they hold in information, text and content submitted to Atlas.
Users authorize NSAT to process that information to the extent necessary to:
- provide the requested service;
- generate analyses;
- retain results and versions;
- maintain service security and operation;
- provide requested functionality.
Personal data processing is described more fully in the Privacy Policy.
11. Generated results
Subject to third-party rights and mandatory applicable rules, users may use Atlas reports and results generated for them in connection with their own lawful projects and activities.
This does not transfer ownership of Atlas software, source code, trademarks, interface, internal methods, presentation models or other proprietary elements to the user.
12. Atlas intellectual property
Atlas's structure, software, code, visual identity, trademarks, interfaces, service-specific texts, graphics and other proprietary elements are protected under applicable law.
Unless authorized or otherwise required by mandatory law, users may not:
- substantially reproduce the service;
- resell or redistribute access to Atlas without authorization;
- copy source code or proprietary components;
- remove proprietary notices;
- represent Atlas or its elements as their own.
13. Service availability and changes
NSAT seeks to maintain reasonable availability of Atlas.
However, the service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- maintenance;
- updates;
- technical incidents;
- third-party provider failures;
- security events;
- circumstances reasonably outside NSAT's control.
NSAT does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Atlas may evolve to improve, secure or adapt the service.
14. Suspension or restriction of access
NSAT may take reasonable restriction or suspension measures where necessary to:
- protect service security;
- prevent fraud or abuse;
- comply with a legal obligation;
- address a serious or repeated breach of these Terms;
- protect the rights of other users or third parties.
Where reasonably possible and appropriate, measures should be proportionate to the circumstances.
Mandatory user rights remain unaffected.
15. Account deletion
Atlas provides an account-deletion mechanism.
Where an account has an active subscription, the subscription may need to end before final account deletion can be completed.
Data-related consequences are described in the Privacy Policy.
Deletion of an Atlas account does not necessarily delete information that a payment provider must retain for its own legal, tax, accounting or anti-fraud obligations.
16. Liability
NSAT is responsible within the limits provided by applicable law.
Users acknowledge that Atlas results depend on supplied information and may contain errors or assumptions.
NSAT does not guarantee that a decision made using an Atlas analysis will produce any particular economic outcome.
To the extent permitted by law, NSAT shall not be liable for a commercial, financial or entrepreneurial decision made solely on the basis of an automated Atlas result without reasonable verification by the user.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
17. Third-party services
Atlas depends on certain third-party services required for its operation, including infrastructure, artificial intelligence and payment services.
An interruption or modification of those services may affect certain Atlas features.
The principal providers and related data processing are described in the Privacy Policy.
Publisher and infrastructure information is provided in the Legal Notice.
18. Links to third-party services
Atlas may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
NSAT does not necessarily control the content or practices of those services.
Users should review the relevant third party's own terms and policies when using such services.
19. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be modified to:
- reflect changes to the service;
- strengthen security;
- address legal or regulatory developments;
- clarify user rights and obligations.
The latest update date appears at the top of this page.
Where a material change requires specific notice or acceptance under applicable law, NSAT will implement the required measures.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, subject to any mandatory provisions applicable to users because of their country of residence or consumer status.
In the event of a dispute, users are encouraged to first contact:
- Support
- support@validatlas.com
to seek an amicable resolution.
If no amicable resolution is reached, competent courts shall be determined in accordance with applicable legal rules.
Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers of mandatory protections or remedies available under the law applicable to them.
